SWIFT CURRENT - BATTLEFORD TRAIL The old cart trail between Swift Current and Battleford crossed the highway at this point. Parts of the trail were used for many years by fur traders, Metis hunters, and Indians. When the railway reached Swift Current in 1882, this trail became the principal highway linking Battleford with the outside world. Northwest Mounted Police regularly patrolled the route used by freighter's cart trains, settler's wagons, and stage coaches. In 1885 a column of troops under the command of Colonel Otter disembarked at Swift Current and marched North to the relief of Battleford, then virtually under seige by rebellious Indians. The trail remained an important route until after the turn of the century.

Dropping kg's

Hopefully losing 1.47kg of unsprung, rotating mass equates to easier wheelies on the short chop! lol

Still glad I went, but......

Really? 26?
Nice quality, but over done.
Needle in a shit stack.
Best in show (easily).
What? No Panigale? We're outta here!
Seriously though, it was nice to be surrounded by bikes again after a long, cold winter. And the best part was how excited my kids get over "motos" :)

Saskatchewan Superbike

Saskatoon's Brett McCormick made a fairly respectable debut in World Superbike with a pair of 16's at Imola. Hope to see him score some points in the next round.
